Night Shift

I am working on a night shift, from 10pm – 7am at Realpage here in Ortigas, Pasig. Getting to the office is only about 15 minutes as I also live in Pasig considering that my way is the opposite of the oncoming traffic. Thought my commute with my work will go well.

7 AM ! Time out !

Once I leave the office’s building, direct sunlight hit me. I was like, this is ok as this is ol good Vitamin D and will benefit my tiny bones. But as I walk through my way via the pathway to the loading bay of jeepneys, my light mood slowly turns into a normal filipino rattling shit.

“if this will be my everyday commute everytime I go home, I’d rather look for another job!”

I was like, “if this will be my everyday commute everytime I go home, I’d rather look for another job!” 8 AM, still looking for a jeepney to ride me home. I supposed to be sleeping now but I’m still here with other passengers with most likely have the same sentiments.

This is unacceptable !

My time is very precious

to only spent waiting for a jeepney, so I should think of a way for an alternative way to go home. I narrowed it down to my 3 choices. A bicycle or a motorcycle

So let’s break it down.

  • Mountain bike

I rode a Mountain bike before as my hobby. Before I went to Dubai for work, I usually found myself pedling my way up to the mountains of Antipolo and Sierra Madre. So indeed, a great way to speed up my way going and out of the office.
  • Motorcycle

That super hot BMW S1000 RR ! 1000 cc and a four cylinder fucking engine will… ENOUGH !
So enough with that BMW thing and stick to what we can afford – Scooters.

Considering that I need to accompany my wife to her work, bicycle will no longer an option. So the latter wins. Plain. Simple.
Wife always WINS, no discussion nor debate. END OF POST
